After 2 days of rehearsal with a spirit of urgency and high responsibility, the 2025 Border Guard Command's pilot rehearsal under the Lai Chau Provincial Military Command was a great success. The drill's Steering Committee thoroughly grasped, deployed, and seriously organized the implementation of the drill's directive documents of the Ministry of National Defense, Military Region 2, and Border Guard Command in 2025; issued all leadership documents and directed the drill frameworks to ensure compliance with principles, creative and flexible application in conjunction with the organization of local authorities at two levels in the area; the preparation work for the drill was complete, thoughtful, in accordance with regulations, and close to reality; the drill was conducted strictly and scientifically, ensuring compliance with intentions, plans, and achieving the set goals and requirements.

The exercise contributes to improving the leadership, command, advisory, coordination and combat readiness capacity of the Border Guard Command in handling situations in the border area; at the same time, it is the basis for adjusting and supplementing the combat plan to closely match the functions and tasks of the Border Guard in the new situation when implementing two-level local government.

Comrade Le Van Luong - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee of the Lai Chau Provincial Exercise delivered the closing speech of the exercise.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the exercise, comrade Le Van Luong - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Exercise Steering Committee highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and close coordination of the forces participating in the exercise.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the units to continue promoting the achieved results; improve the capacity to advise the Party Committees and authorities at the commune level to carry out local defense and military tasks in the border area; research and develop combat defense plans close to the requirements of the local authorities at two levels; regularly disseminate, train, foster, and improve combat readiness; actively and proactively innovate the content and methods of training and exercises to go deeper into practice and handle situations associated with the functions and tasks of the Border Guard.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Luong awarded Certificates of Merit of the Provincial People's Committee to individuals.

At the same time, thoroughly grasp the Party's viewpoint on protecting the Fatherland "early and from afar"; build a strong, compact, and powerful local armed force, acting as the core in building all-people national defense, all-people national defense posture associated with people's security.

Leaders of the Military Region Command, Border Guard Command and Lai Chau province presented gifts to encourage the forces participating in the exercise.

On this occasion, the Command of Military Region 2 and Lai Chau province commended 10 collectives and 23 individuals with outstanding achievements in the exercise of the Border Guard Command under the Lai Chau Provincial Military Command in 2025.
