Candidates forgot their ID cards, traffic police took them home on special motorbikes in time for the exam.
This morning, June 26, at the examination site of Binh Tan High School (Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City), candidate Khuu Thi Thanh Ngan (Binh Tan High School) forgot to bring her ID card. Immediately, the Traffic Police promptly assisted her to get it home in time so as not to miss the important exam.
Specifically, at 6:38 a.m. the same day, while on duty regulating traffic in front of the school gate, Major Nguyen Thanh Phuoc (of the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police) discovered that candidate Khuu Thi Thanh Ngan was panicking because she forgot to bring her ID card. Immediately, Major Phuoc reported to the commander and was approved to use a special motorbike to take Ngan home to get her papers.
The distance from the exam site to the candidate's home is about 7.5 km. With the support of the traffic police, candidate Thanh Ngan returned to the exam site in time to enter the Literature exam room.
This morning, June 26, along with more than 1.1 million candidates nationwide, more than 99,000 candidates in Ho Chi Minh City entered the first exam session with the Literature subject. To meet the scale of this candidate, the city has arranged 171 exam sites with a total of 4,242 exam rooms.
Of these, 168 test sites with 4,180 test rooms are for candidates under the 2018 General Education Program and 3 test sites with 62 test rooms are for candidates under the 2006 General Education Program. Each test site is equipped with 3 backup rooms to handle arising situations and is equipped with cameras to ensure safety.
