End of the first day of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam

BHG - On the afternoon of June 26, candidates participating in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam took the Math test for 90 minutes and ended the first day of the exam.

According to a quick report from the Departmentof Education and Training, the total number of candidates registered for the Math exam was 7,193; the number of candidates taking the exam was 7,141, reaching 99.28%. Of these, 25 candidates were exempted from the exam due to disabilities, 27 candidates were absent, including 8 grade 12 candidates and 19 independent candidates. The organization of the Math exam at the exam sites took place according to the exam schedule and timetable, ensuring safety and seriousness in accordance with the exam regulations. According to the reports of 34 Heads of exam sites, no exam supervisors, invigilators or candidates violated the exam regulations.

According to the assessment of teachers and candidates, this year's Math exam is built according to the 2018 General Education Program with many new directions, requiring the ability to solve practical problems through the application of mathematical knowledge. Candidate Nguyen Thi Minh Thu, exam site of Ngoc Ha High School (Ha Giang city) shared: "The exam consists of 3 parts with 34 questions, the multiple choice questions are short but require the ability to apply and synthesize knowledge, and the true/false questions must be answered correctly on all 4 questions to get a full point. I think the exam is close to the illustration of the Ministry of Education and Training , I calculate that I can get 6 points or more."

On the first day of the exam, discipline and order at the exam sites and rooms continued to be maintained. Security and safety work was carried out synchronously, and favorable weather conditions created favorable conditions for candidates to participate in the exam. Districts, city youth unions and functional forces actively implemented the program "Supporting the exam season", providing maximum support and timely encouragement to candidates taking the exam. Typical examples include: Ha Giang City Youth Union supported nearly 3,000 free bottles of water, 600 boxes of milk, and school supplies; Quan Ba District Youth Union cooked over 150 free meals to serve candidates; volunteer motorbike taxi teams were ready to pick up and drop off, and support candidates to move around...

Tomorrow morning, June 27, candidates participating in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam will continue to take the Natural Science and Social Science exams.
