July 1st Square , Truong Thinh Park in Dong Hoa Town and some public areas in Tuy Hoa City such as April 1st Square , Nhan Mountain area , Ho Son Park ... are places with stone benches attached with QR codes integrated with links to images of famous scenic spots of the province .Residents and tourists staying here can experience digital tourism activities by scanning the QR code with their smartphones .
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang, a tourist from Hai Phong City, was delighted: Just scanned the link code, all the famous scenic spots in Phu Yen appeared one by one. Beautiful, majestic and very stimulating for tourists to directly go to these places to witness and feel with their own eyes.
“When traveling to Phu Yen, I booked a tour to the South wing with Mui Dien, Vung Ro, the relic site of the ship No Number... I regret that there are still some scenic spots in the North wing that I have not had time to visit such as Mang Lang Church, Ganh Da Dia, Xuan Dai Bay... But during the 3-day vacation, I spent 1 day experiencing the famous landscapes and architectural works in the center of Tuy Hoa city, so I could not visit all the scenic spots far from Tuy Hoa. Luckily, when I sat down to rest at the April 1st Square park, I scanned the QR code on the stone bench and experienced almost all the scenic spots that I had not had time to visit. I am very pleased and excited about being able to travel using digital technology like this,” Trang added.
Mr. Ngo Van Tinh in Hoa Xuan Tay ward (Dong Hoa town) shared: Nhan Tower, Nghinh Phong Tower, Mui Dien, Ganh Da Dia... when coming directly, the scenery is already very beautiful, but when experiencing it on a digital platform, it feels even more unique and majestic. The scenic spots appear from a bird's eye view, so they are not only multidimensional but also encompass a large landscape space. I am a resident of Dong Hoa, Mui Dai Lanh scenic spot has been familiar to me since childhood. However, when viewed through a digital platform, it feels newer, more detailed, and more beautiful.
Stone benches with QR codes and integrated Phu Yen tourism information were donated by Bao Viet Phu Yen Life to Dong Hoa Town and Tuy Hoa City. With 60 donated benches, these two localities have placed them in public areas, which attract a large number of people and tourists every day. This activity aims to contribute to promoting tourism in the province.
According to Vice Chairman of Dong Hoa Town People's Committee Nguyen Van Hong, along with the town People's Committee information portal, the promotion of local tourism also has a QR code scanning channel on stone benches. This form makes it more convenient for people and tourists to experience the scenic spots of Dong Hoa Town in particular, Phu Yen Province in general. Thereby promoting the potential of the locality to interested investors who are looking to learn more.
