Responsibility of the People's Committee at the commune level for the commune-level radio station
Commune-level radio stations are means of information and propaganda established according to administrative units of communes, wards and towns to carry out information and propaganda work and serve the direction and administration of Party committees and authorities directly managed by the People's Committees at the commune level.
The People's Committee at the commune level is responsible for:
+ Issue regulations on the operation of commune-level radio stations in accordance with the living characteristics of local people;
+ Arrange personnel to operate radio stations as cultural and social civil servants or part-time workers at the commune level; organize training and professional development, propaganda skills, and skills in using technical equipment and broadcasting technology for personnel to operate radio stations;
+ Arrange facilities, technical equipment, technology and necessary conditions to meet the operation of the radio station; budget for maintaining regular operations of the radio station; pay royalties and remuneration for media products specified in Clause 1, Article 9 of this Decree according to the regulations on royalties and remuneration issued by the Provincial People's Council.
Content of activities of commune radio stations
Commune-level radio stations provide and disseminate essential information to people in Vietnamese and local ethnic minority languages.
Information on the response content of competent agencies, organizations and individuals to people's feedback information must be consistent with the nature and requirements of the information content broadcast on the radio.
How and how commune radio stations work
Commune-level radio stations produce and broadcast radio programs produced by the radio stations themselves; broadcast announcements of local Party committees and authorities.
Broadcast district-level radio programs produced according to regular time frames and broadcast schedules or in emergency cases decided by the District People's Committee.
Broadcast radio programs received from the central information source information system and the provincial information source information system, radio programs serving essential political , information and propaganda tasks of the country and the province at the request of competent state management agencies.
Based on actual conditions, commune-level radio stations rebroadcast and rebroadcast news programs and other radio programs of Voice of Vietnam and provincial radio and television stations to serve the essential information needs of the people.
Radio broadcasting activities are carried out in accordance with the provisions of law on radio transmission and broadcasting, and the provisions of law on telecommunications and information technology.
Responsibilities of personnel operating commune-level radio stations
Operate radio stations in accordance with the provisions of law and the Radio Station Operation Regulations issued by the People's Committee at the commune level.
Write, edit news, articles and provide essential information to people accurately, promptly, easy to hear and understand; master the techniques and operating procedures of radio station machinery and equipment.
Receive people's feedback, report to the Chairman of the People's Committee at the commune level for resolution or forward to competent agencies, organizations and individuals for resolution.
Decree 49/2024/ND-CP takes effect from July 1, 2024.
