The number of tourists entering and exiting through Lao Cai International Border Gate during the holidays decreased compared to the same period.

Lao Cai International Border Gate Border Guard Station under Lao Cai International Border Gate Border Guard Station informed that during the September 2 holiday (August 30 - September 2), over 20,000 people and tourists entered and exited the country through Lao Cai International Border Gate.

Talking to reporters, Major Nguyen Huy Quyen - Head of Lao Cai International Border Gate Border Guard Station said: Due to the high number of passengers entering and exiting the country during the holidays compared to normal days, the unit proactively increased the number of officers to handle procedures and maintain security and order; at the same time, coordinated with Chinese authorities to regulate the appropriate flow of passengers, not letting passengers spend a lot of time waiting for procedures.

However, the number of people entering and exiting the country during this year's holiday is only about 65% of last year's because many people attended the parade and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi .

However, the border guards regularly maintain two exit gates and two entry gates, and when the number of people increases, they will deploy three entry and three exit streams, ensuring that the exit and entry of people and tourists takes place quickly, smoothly and safely.

With the synchronous implementation of solutions, the time for immigration procedures has been shortened to less than 2 minutes, creating favorable conditions for people and tourists.
