Van Phu Ward organizes an exam to select excellent students for the 2025 - 2026 school year

On the afternoon of December 6, at Nguyen Tat Thanh High School for the Gifted, the People's Committee of Van Phu Ward held the opening ceremony of the Ward-level Excellent Student Selection Exam for the 2025-2026 school year. This is the first excellent student exam organized by Van Phu Ward since the implementation of the 2-level local government model.

The exam took place from December 6 to 8 with the participation of 254 secondary school students selected from 5 educational institutions in the ward.

Students in grades 7 and 8 take exams in three subjects: Math, Literature, and English. Students in grade 9 take exams in the following subjects: Math, Natural Sciences , Information Technology, Literature, History and Geography, English, and Civic Education.

Test time for each subject is 150 minutes, test content closely follows the current secondary school education program.

This year's exam is organized in the direction of innovating the testing and assessment of students' abilities, focusing on enhancing the ability to apply knowledge into practice.

The Ward People's Committee, together with the Steering Committee and the Examination Council, have fully prepared the facilities, arranged the examination rooms appropriately, and ensured safety and security conditions. At the same time, the forces participating in the examination are imbued with the spirit of serious and impartial work, contributing to creating a transparent and objective examination environment.
