On June 12, at the National Assembly House, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue delivered an opening speech at the meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee to receive, revise, and perfect the draft Laws and Resolutions passed at the 2nd Session of the 5th Session.
Speaking at the opening session of the National Assembly Standing Committee to receive and revise the contents in preparation for Phase 2 of the 5th Session, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said that the 15th National Assembly has completed Phase 1 of the 5th Session with 17 working days, basically completing the proposed contents.
At the 2nd Session of the upcoming session, the National Assembly will mainly vote to pass draft laws and resolutions.
From today (June 12), the National Assembly Standing Committee will continuously hold meetings to give opinions on draft laws and draft resolutions to be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and approval in the 2nd Session of the Session.
The National Assembly Chairman stated that the National Assembly Standing Committee is expected to comment on 8 draft laws, of which 6 draft laws were commented on by the National Assembly at the 4th Session; 2 draft laws have been added for approval according to the 1 Session process. In addition, the National Assembly Standing Committee also commented on 9 draft resolutions.

The National Assembly Chairman stated that, according to the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents, the National Assembly Standing Committee is primarily responsible for the reception, explanation, and revision stages. When the National Assembly Standing Committee reaches a consensus, a plan will be developed to seek comments from the submitting agency.
