In order to equip swimming skills for teenagers and children and create a useful playground in the summer of 2023. From June 14 to 30, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Quynh Phu District Cultural - Sports Center coordinated with An Quy, Quynh Tho, An Hiep, Quynh Giao, and Quynh Minh communes to organize free swimming training classes for over 200 local teenagers and children.

Free swimming classes for children are a practical activity to strengthen the prevention of child drowning and respond to the 2023 Children's Action Month with the theme "Joining hands to reduce harm to children". At the same time, it creates conditions for children to have a useful and practical playground to practice health, equip them with response and escape skills in emergency situations, contributing to reducing the number of accidents, injuries and drowning of children.
Participating in the swimming training class, the children were equipped with freestyle swimming, breaststroke, crawling, and rescue methods for drowning people by instructors from the District Culture and Sports Center. At the end of the training class, the children were granted certificates by the Culture and Sports Center.
