Launching 2 books about the Communist Party of Vietnam and the People's Public Security Forces

Within the framework of the exhibition of national achievements "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness", on August 28, at the National Exhibition Center, Dong Anh, Hanoi, the Truth National Political Publishing House in collaboration with the Central Public Security Party Committee - Ministry of Public Security solemnly organized the book introduction ceremony "When the people need, when the people are in difficulty, there is the Public Security" and "The Communist Party of Vietnam through congresses - Historic decisions".

Attending the meeting were leaders of central and local departments, ministries, branches, many units under the Ministry of Public Security , and many students from schools and academies in the People's Public Security.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam, Director - Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House, Truth, said that the compilation, editing and publication of the book "When the people need, when the people are in trouble, there is the Police" is a continuation of the concretization of the Regulations on coordination in protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety between the Ministry of Public Security and the National Political Publishing House, Truth, in the past time. The content of the book truly reflects the spirit of being close to the people, understanding the people, and serving the people of the Public Security force; clearly showing the "blood and flesh" relationship between the Public Security and the People. This will be an important document for Party committees at all levels to study and research in order to serve the political tasks of Party organizations in the Public Security force.

With the spirit that our Party's history is "a golden history", the book " The Communist Party of Vietnam through Congresses - Historical Decisions" has a special meaning in reviewing the precious traditions of the Party, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party. Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam stated that since its inception, the Communist Party of Vietnam has gone through 13 National Congresses. Each Party Congress is an important historical milestone recording the victories, achievements and lessons learned along with the maturity of our Party's theoretical thinking and leadership activities in practice.

According to the Director - Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House, Truth, the content of the book shows that over the past 95 years, our Party has made constant efforts, closely following the practical situation in the country and the world to issue correct and creative policies and strategies to help the Vietnamese revolution overcome all difficulties, hardships and sacrifices to achieve great and glorious victories, build and protect the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland to develop more and more strongly, and the people's lives to become more and more prosperous and happy. Those policies are an important basis for guiding our entire Party, army and people in practical organization.

The book "When the people need, when the people are in trouble, there is the Public Security" is an important publication compiled under the direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee, affirming the glorious tradition of the Public Security force, absolutely loyal to the Party, to the Fatherland, closely attached to the people, "Forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people". The book gathers authentic and touching documents, stories, and images about the silent, extremely great contributions of the Public Security force throughout the history of the revolution, especially in peacetime. From the Public Security soldiers in remote areas to the soldiers on duty day and night at the front lines of the prevention and fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, natural disasters, storms and floods..., the Public Security force always appears on the front lines in storms, floods, natural disasters, epidemics and dangerous situations to protect the lives and property of the people, keeping life peaceful.

The book pays tribute to and acknowledges the contributions and sacrifices of the officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security Forces in the process of performing the task of ensuring security and order, serving the Fatherland and serving the People. All are portrayed as vivid images of courage and the spirit of serving the People.

The organizing committee presented the books "When people need, when people are in difficulty, there is the Police" and "The Communist Party of Vietnam through its congresses - Historic decisions" to representatives of units inside and outside the People's Public Security force.

The book “The Communist Party of Vietnam through Congresses - Historical Decisions” edited by Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam, is a special publication of the Truth National Political Publishing House to welcome Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party. The book analyzes and clarifies the historical decisions of the Party at each congress, guiding the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people to organize and carry out revolutionary tasks in accordance with the requirements of the new situation. This is not only a profound theoretical and practical summary work, but also a summary of valuable lessons learned during the Party's leadership of the Vietnamese revolution.
