Speaking at the opening of the Congress, comrade Tran Luu Quynh, Chairman of Hai Ba Trung Ward Trade Union, said that Hai Ba Trung Ward Trade Union was established under Decision No. 1963/QD-LĐLĐ dated September 19, 2025 of the Hanoi City Labor Federation, with 155 grassroots trade union organizations with 14,218 union members.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, Hai Ba Trung Ward Trade Union innovates the content and methods of trade union activities to meet the requirements of the new situation, effectively performing the functions of caring for the lives, representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.

The Congress discussed the direction and tasks for the 2025-2030 term with 4 breakthroughs, 8 targets and 6 groups of key tasks and solutions.

Speaking at the Congress, Vice President of the Hanoi City Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy and Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Hai Ba Trung Ward Chu Hong Minh acknowledged and commended the efforts of the Hai Ba Trung Ward Labor Union in the past time.

In the context of digital transformation, administrative reform, green urban development and knowledge economy , Vice President of the City Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy requested the Ward Trade Union to study and implement a number of key tasks.

Immediately after the Congress, the Ward Union promptly deployed propaganda and built an action program to implement the Congress Resolution in conjunction with implementing the Resolution of the Party Congress and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress of the Ward; well performing the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.

Along with that, the Ward Union promotes digital transformation in Union activities, pioneers in propaganda work and grasps the thoughts and aspirations of union members; improves the quality and effectiveness of patriotic emulation movements; carries out more drastic social supervision and criticism work; participates in building a clean and strong Party and government...

Comrade Chu Hong Minh also requested the Ward Union Executive Committee to pioneer innovation, promote the tradition of solidarity, intelligence and creativity, and be worthy of being a strong political and social organization in the ward's grassroots political system, a solid support and truly a warm common home for union members and workers in the ward.

The Congress announced the decisions of the Hanoi City Labor Federation to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and appoint a delegation to attend the Congress of the Trade Union at a higher level. Comrade Tran Luu Quynh was appointed as Chairman of the Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term.
