With the spirit of "Solidarity - Courage - Pioneering - Creativity - Efficiency", the Congress worked seriously, responsibly and completed all the contents of the proposed program. At the first session, the Congress elected the Presidium, the Secretariat and the Delegate Qualification Examination Board; approved the internal rules and working regulations; democratically discussed and reached a high consensus on the Political Report to be presented to the Congress, and at the same time, synthesized comments and contributions to the draft documents of the Congress of the Youth Union at all levels.
Authorized by the Central Youth Union Secretariat, Mr. Nguyen Minh Son, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, presented the "For the Young Generation" Medal to Major General Ta Van Dep, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Police. This is a noble award recognizing the Major General's persistent and dedicated contributions to the Youth Union and youth movement.
In addition, the Congress also launched an exhibition of software and technology applications serving professional work researched by union members and youth in the movement "City Police Youth promote the application of science and technology, pioneering innovation and digital transformation" for the period 2025 - 2030. At the same time, the online photo exhibition "Imprints of the term" of the City Police Youth Union for the term 2022 - 2025 was also introduced to delegates.
On this occasion, two creative products of the City Police's youth were officially launched, including the "Green Shield" application serving drug prevention propaganda for students and the software for creating records, handling and managing drug users to support the Commune Police.
At the Congress, Major General Nguyen Thanh Huong, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Police, acknowledged the efforts of the City Police Youth Union during the past term, and emphasized the important role of the young generation in building a dynamic, creative, and daring City Police force.
Major General Nguyen Thanh Huong affirmed: “The Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the City Police always consider youth work as a regular and important task. The City Police Youth Union has demonstrated a pioneering spirit, creativity, and quick adaptation to task requirements, making positive contributions to the overall work of the entire force.”
Major General Nguyen Thanh Huong suggested that in the new term, the Youth Union and the City Police Union officers should focus on improving political, ideological, ethical and lifestyle education; effectively implementing 10 targets, 3 youth projects and breakthroughs; linking the movement with professional tasks, especially administrative reform and supporting people in handling procedures.
Major General Nguyen Thanh Huong also emphasized the need to promote the vanguard role of union members in implementing Project 06 on the application of population data, identification and national digital transformation; at the same time, constantly study and practice professional skills, law, foreign languages, science and technology, and maintain the style and discipline of a People's Public Security soldier.
At the end of the Congress, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Youth Union, term I, 2025 - 2030, was officially launched. The City Police leaders expect the new Youth Union to be united, courageous, creative, daring to think and act, contributing to the successful implementation of the City Police Party Resolution for the term 2025 - 2030.
