On the afternoon of October 20, the Women's Union of Van Giang commune organized the launching of the pilot model "Green house - collecting scrap to raise charity funds" at the Women's Union of Phi Liet village.

The model was established with over 200 members who are active propagandists in propaganda work, mobilizing members, women and people to collect plastic waste, old papers, newspapers, beer cans, soft drinks, scrap iron... The green house is designed with a steel frame 1.2 m high, 1.2 m wide, roofed with corrugated iron, with a lock, covered with iron mesh around, compact, easy to move and located at 2 locations: the market and the cultural house of Phi Liet village.

Every month, the recycled waste collected at the green house will be sold to raise funds to support women and children in difficult circumstances on the occasion of March 8, October 20, the new school year and Tet. On the first day of launching, the model received over 30 kg of recycled waste.

The model helps raise awareness of members and people of Phi Liet village about waste classification, environmental protection, fundraising to support members and children in difficult circumstances; at the same time, improve the quality of new rural model criteria in the locality associated with the campaign "Building a family of 5 yes, 3 clean".
