Launching the electric Toyota Hilux 2026 priced at 1.2 billion VND, running 315 km/charge
The 2026 Toyota Hilux TRAVO-e pure electric version, using the first 100% electric body-on-frame structure produced and sold in Thailand.

The all-electric 2026 Toyota Hilux TRAVO-e pickup truck has just been officially launched in Thailand. The overall dimensions of the vehicle are 5,320 mm long, 1,855 mm wide, 1,800 mm high, with a wheelbase of 3,085 mm. The Toyota Hilux TRAVO-e 2026 pure electric pickup truck has a ground clearance of 215 mm and the ability to wade through water up to 700 mm, with a maximum load of 715 kg. The cargo bed size is 1,555 x 1,540 x 480 mm.
Regarding the chassis, the Hilux TRAVO-e uses an independent double wishbone front suspension with a stabilizer bar and a De-Dion rear suspension combined with leaf springs. Disc brakes are equipped in both front and rear. The car has EPS electric power steering and 3 driving modes: Eco, Normal, Sport, with MTS terrain control system. Standard equipment includes LED projector headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control with PM2.5 filter, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
Notable features of the car include a 12.3-inch touchscreen entertainment screen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, wireless phone charging, and an 8-speaker sound system. Softex leather interior, 8-way power driver's seat, and many other high-end amenities. The Hilux TRAVO-e is equipped with an all-wheel drive system (AWD) with two electric motors — front 112 hp (206 Nm), rear 176 hp (269 Nm), for a total output of 196 hp. The car uses a 59.2 kWh NMC lithium-ion battery, providing an operating range of about 315 km on the NEDC cycle. Toyota says DC fast charging from 20% to 80% takes about 30 minutes (maximum charging capacity 125 kW), while AC charging supports up to 10 kW. Regarding safety, Hilux TRAVO-e is fully integrated with technologies in the Toyota Safety Sense package such as automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, blind spot warning, cross traffic warning when reversing...
The car also has full-range adaptive cruise control, cornering cruise control, a 360-degree camera, 7 airbags, hill descent control, tire pressure warning, and front and rear parking sensors. The price of the Toyota Hilux TRAVO-e 2026 in Thailand starts at 1,491,000 Baht (equivalent to 1.2 billion VND). The Hilux TRAVO-e is part of Toyota's strategy to participate in the EV 3.5 program in Thailand, with a target production of 5,000 vehicles, of which 500 will be for the domestic market each year, the rest will be exported to Europe. The vehicle has a localization rate of up to 95%.
