Ryder Cup 2025: European team ready to face US team

(Dan Tri) - The two American teams and European stars have announced the list of participants in the world's most prestigious team golf tournament, the Ryder Cup 2025. This tournament takes place every 2 years.

This year's tournament takes place from September 26 to September 28 in New York (USA). The host team, the US, is very strong this year, with the presence of world number one golfer Scottie Scheffler.

Scottie Scheffler's teammates are JJ Spaun, Xander Schauffele, Russell Henley, Harris English, Bryson DeChambeau, Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Ben Griffin, Cameron Young, Patrick Cantlay and Sam Burns.

Among them, Scottie Scheffler and JJ Spaun are in good form. They have won major tournaments recently.

However, unlike a few weeks ago, the European All-Stars are now a different team, following the FedEx Cup play-off victory of Tommy Fleetwood (British). This tournament ended on Monday morning (August 25, Vietnam time).

With Tommy Fleetwood in good form, the European stars will at least have a counterweight to Scottie Scheffler, alongside the very annoying golfer Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland).

In addition to Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood, the other 10 golfers in the European All-Star Team include Robert MacIntyre (Scotland), Justin Rose (England), Rasmus Hojgaard (Denmark), Tyrrell Hatton (England), Shane Lowry, Sepp Straka (Ireland), Ludvig Aberg (Sweden), Viktor Hovland (Norway), Matt Fitzpatrick (England) and Jon Rahm (Spain).

The European All-Star team beat the US team at the most recent tournament in 2023, held in Italy.
