After two years of operation, the club currently has 30 official members, including youth union members, students, and young people in the district. During its operation, the club has participated in over 20 cultural and artistic programs and more than 10 competitions organized at the district and provincial levels. Some notable achievements include: First Prize at the District Youth Singing Festival in 2024; Second Prize at the Red Phoenix Talent Competition in 2023 and 2024; and Third Prize at the Book Promotion and Introduction Competition in 2024 organized by the Provincial Library. In addition to performing for public events, the club also participates in paid performances, generating nearly 30 million VND in revenue to date. After deducting expenses, a portion of the revenue is allocated to the club's fund, with the remainder distributed equally among the participating members.
The club has nurtured many artistic talents in areas lacking both material resources and opportunities to cultivate their passions, creating a close-knit community of young people who hone their knowledge and skills in their favorite fields. They learn from each other, sharing new insights gained from performances both within and outside the province... gradually improving and developing their artistic talents.
Members of the Youth Colors Club perform at conferences in Phu Tan district.
Dang Phuc Nguyen, Secretary of the Youth Union of Class 12A, Vam Dinh Secondary and High School, and a member of the club, said: “The Youth Colors Club is a place where enthusiastic, passionate, and creative young people gather. Each practice session is full of energy and laughter, creating a close-knit and friendly atmosphere. I feel very happy to practice and perform special acts with my friends to serve the cultural programs of the Youth Union and Associations, and the solemn ceremonies of the district. Through this, I learn how to work in a team and develop confidence when standing in front of a crowd. The club not only helps me develop my artistic talent but also nurtures friendships and beautiful memories. Every time I have a successful performance, I feel proud and happy. The instructors are always dedicated to guiding and inspiring us to constantly strive. I love the club as an important part of my youth. This is truly a meaningful environment to develop myself and contribute to society.” youth movement.
When joining the Youth Colors Club, young people share a feeling of excitement because it is a place where they can satisfy their passion for art, while also learning many good things from the older members of the club.
“Through performing arts and participating in competitions organized at the district and provincial levels, I have honed my public speaking skills, gained confidence, and improved myself. Through these experiences, I learned teamwork, how to listen to others' opinions, and how to appreciate the values of art. I am very happy to be a part of the Youth Colors Club; this is probably one of the most beautiful memories of my youth,” shared Nguyen Thuy Vy, a member of the club, Class 10A12, Cai Nuoc High School.
In the near future, the club will undergo some changes in its name and management, but these will not affect its activities. Currently, the club continues to recruit new members, practice new routines, and will seek advice and suggestions to open more cultural and artistic activities for young people during the summer; and continue to contribute to serving the local community in cultural and artistic programs.
Mr. Tran Quang Vu did not hide his hope for support for talented young people in his locality in general and the club in particular: “Currently, Party members and Youth Union members, young people in remote and rural areas lack playgrounds and spaces for experience. Besides the need for economic development in the locality, young Party members also lack spiritual playgrounds. In some localities, there are still such places, but the activities are not suitable for the needs of the young people. From these shortcomings, there is a need for more policies to motivate young Party members to create their own spaces for experience, creativity and development. At the same time, young Party members also need to train themselves, improve their knowledge and skills to develop themselves.”
