Sacombank Phu Yen supports the construction of 2 Gratitude houses for poor households in An Dan commune

On the morning of April 18, Sacombank Phu Yen coordinated with the Tuy An District Fatherland Front Committee to organize the acceptance, handover and put into use 2 Gratitude Houses for poor households in An Dan commune. Secretary of Tuy An District Party Committee Ngo Dinh Thien, Deputy Director of State Bank of Vietnam, Regional Branch XIII Hoang Linh and representatives of the People's Committee, Tuy An District Fatherland Front Committee, An Dan commune attended.

The two households that were handed over houses this time are Mr. Tran Van Minh's family in Long Uyen village and Mrs. Vo Thi Kim Suong's family in Can Luong village. These are poor households with difficult circumstances, on the list of households proposed for support to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025, approved by Tuy An District People's Committee.

Each house was supported by Sacombank Phu Yen with 60 million VND, the rest was contributed by the families and supported by labor from relatives and neighbors. After more than a month of construction, the houses were solidly completed, ensuring the "3 hard" standards, helping households feel secure and stable in their lives.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Mr. Tran Hoang Nha, Director of Sacombank Phu Yen shared: “Through the activity of supporting the construction of houses of gratitude, Sacombank Phu Yen wishes to contribute to the local government in effectively implementing social security work and taking care of people's lives. This is one of many practical activities that the bank has implemented to spread the spirit of sharing for the community”.

 

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Hoang, Vice Chairman of Tuy An District People's Committee, the locality is very grateful for the support of Sacombank Phu Yen and other benefactors in supporting the implementation of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025. Thanks to this practical support, many poor households, near-poor households, and disadvantaged policy families in the district have the conditions to improve their lives, focus on production, and strive to escape poverty sustainably.
