According to Android Authority , Samsung's One UI 7 update brings a lot of new features, but also comes with a change that has left many users unhappy as the music controls are 'pushed' out of the notification area.
Samsung listens to users and fixes One UI 7 bugs
On One UI 7, Samsung 'learned' from Apple by separating the notification area and quick settings panel. Along with that, the company also moved the music control out of the notification area and placed it permanently in the quick settings panel.

This change has been met with mixed reviews. Many users who are loyal to the old interface feel inconvenienced by not being able to quickly control music from the notification area as before.
The good news for these users is that Samsung has listened to the feedback. In the latest One UI 7 beta for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, the company has brought back music controls to the notification area.
However, there will be a slight difference as users need to go to the Now bar settings to manually activate this feature. Besides, the music controller will appear as a live notification in the notification area. Notably, this setting does not remove the fixed music controller in the quick settings panel.
While it's not a perfect solution (there's still a duplicate music control in the quick settings panel), Samsung's move to bring music controls back to the notification area shows that the company is listening to user feedback. It's a move that shows Samsung is trying to find a balance between innovating the interface and keeping the features that users love.
Many users hope that in the next One UI 7 updates, Samsung will further improve, completely removing the duplicate music controls in the quick settings panel when users have enabled the display option in the notification area.
