Useful playground for young propagandists

Lieutenant General Tran Hoai Trung, Political Commissar of Military Region 7 and Colonel Tran Viet Nang, Head of the Army Youth Union presented Flags to units with outstanding achievements in the Competition.

The 2024 Young Propaganda Contest for the entire army in the Southern region took place on September 11 and 12. According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, at this year's Contest, the political agencies of the units thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented the Contest Organization Plan; proactively developed a training plan and participated in the Contest with good results; many units received attention from the Party Committee and commanders, leadership, direction, and favorable conditions in terms of human resources, time, and facilities, contributing to the overall success of the Contest.

Participating in the 2024 Young Propaganda Contest for the entire army in the Southern region are 13 teams, with the gathering of nearly 400 comrades who are cadres, union members, young people who are officers, professional soldiers, defense workers, contract workers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers and union members, teachers, students, etc. from units and twinned forces, of which 27 comrades are main propagandists.

At this year's contest, most of the units' scripts clearly demonstrated the propaganda theme; contained a high amount of information, were topical, encouraging, motivating, and appealing; demonstrated the Party's character, the mass character, the scientific character, the artistic character, and the high fighting spirit, closely following the political tasks, activities of the Youth Union, and the youth movement of their units; and strongly promoted the traditions of the nation, the Army, and the unit.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded Flags to 11 teams; Certificates of Merit to 2 teams and 19 key propagandists.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the contest, Colonel Tran Huu Dung, Deputy Head of the Youth Union of the Army, emphasized: The contest is a meaningful political activity, attracting the attention and participation of a large number of cadres, union members, and young people, with vitality and widespread influence in the work of the Union and the youth movement; contributing to preserving and promoting the fine traditional nature of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" and the national cultural identity in the new era; practically aiming to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day and the 80th anniversary of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army./.
