Ho Chi Minh City receives military forces from Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau

On the afternoon of June 22, the Ho Chi Minh City Command held a conference to hand over, receive, and reorganize the Ho Chi Minh City Command, the Binh Duong Provincial Military Command, and the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Military Command into the Ho Chi Minh City Command under Military Region 7.

Implementing the direction of the superiors on the organization of the merger of the provincial military command, the Party Committee and the Military Command of Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented the handover work, ensuring proper implementation.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Tran Vinh Ngoc, Political Commissar of Military Region 7, said that the Party Committee and Command of Military Region 7 always highly appreciated the results of the implementation of military and defense tasks over the past time of the Ho Chi Minh City Command, the Military Command of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, and the Military Command of Binh Duong Province. The units have contributed to Military Region 7 in implementing well the policies, projects, and models that are strategic and have a wide-reaching impact.

The Political Commissar of Military Region 7 requested that after the merger, it is necessary to quickly stabilize the organization and staffing, issue and implement regulations and rules to put the unit into smooth, unified, and effective operation without interrupting the performance of tasks.

After the merger, the Ho Chi Minh City Command needs to proactively coordinate closely with forces and functional agencies to grasp the situation in the inland area, islands and cyberspace to promptly advise and propose, not to be passive or surprised in any situation.
