Faced with a series of cases of production and trading of food of unknown origin and poor quality discovered and handled by authorities, consumers have become more cautious in choosing goods, in which, they prioritize buying products that have been certified OCOP.

After more than four years of operation, the Dak Lak OCOP Cooperative Store (Buon Ma Thuot Ward) has become a trusted shopping address for people. Ms. Dao Thi Sang, manager of the Dak Lak OCOP Cooperative Store, said that at the store, coffee, cocoa, macadamia nuts, rice, herbal tea, vermicelli, rice noodles, dried pho, etc. are currently the products chosen by many people as gifts and for personal use. In the near future, the store will add more typical products, strengths of the eastern communes of the province such as fish cakes, fish sauce, rice paper, etc. to help people and tourists have more choices when shopping.

Provincial enterprises actively participate in fairs to promote and introduce OCOP products to consumers.

For about 3 years now, Ms. Ho Thi Bich Lien’s family (Buon Ma Thuot Ward) has switched to buying some OCOP products to serve their daily needs. Ms. Lien shared that although the prices are slightly higher than similar products on the market, OCOP products have been inspected and have traceable information about their origin, which helps her feel secure about their quality. She also sees this as a way to support domestically produced goods, contributing to the development of the local economy .

According to Mr. Trinh Van Gam, owner of Ngan My A fish sauce production facility (Binh Kien ward), in the past 2 years, the demand for OCOP products has increased. Currently, the facility has 3 pure fish sauce products that have achieved 3-star OCOP certification. "The demand for clean, safe food and the spirit of supporting domestic products have created conditions for the facility to expand its business scale and market share. Currently, on average, each year, the facility supplies the market with about 100,000 liters of various types of fish sauce to serve the market in the province and some major cities such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City," Mr. Gam added.

As of July 2025, the whole province has 764 products recognized as OCOP from 3 - 5 stars of 372 entities (75 cooperatives, 1 cooperative group, 88 enterprises and 208 business households, production establishments). OCOP products have had positive changes in quality, diversified designs, ensuring conditions on stamps, labels, traceability of origin... so they have gradually affirmed their position in the market and been welcomed by consumers.

Space to introduce and sell local OCOP products at Super Co.opmart Tuy Hoa.

In order to bring local OCOP products closer to consumers, departments and branches have had many activities to accompany entities in promoting and connecting product consumption such as: building and developing display points, introducing and selling OCOP products; creating conditions for participation in fairs, exhibitions, trade promotion programs, supply-demand connection conferences; supporting the creation of accounts and booths to put products on e-commerce platforms; training on livestream sales skills on digital platforms... With these efforts, up to now, most of the province's OCOP products have been available at specialty stores, gift shops, supermarkets, shopping malls and online sales channels.

As a supplier of goods to consumers, in recent years, Co.opmart Tuy Hoa Supermarket (Tuy Hoa Ward) has also contributed to promoting and stimulating consumption of the province's products by dedicating a separate space to display 100 specialty products, including 60 OCOP products. Along with that, 14 affiliated Co.op Food stores have also become points of introduction for local OCOP products. In addition, the supermarket has also connected with 5 local suppliers to bring OCOP products to units in the Co.opmart system to introduce to people and tourists from all over the country.

According to Mr. Pham Hoang Hung, Director of Co.opmart Tuy Hoa Supermarket, every year, the supermarket integrates the introduction of local OCOP products to customers in programs to introduce, try products, and promote discounts; participate in displaying booths at fairs and exhibitions... From there, it helps consumers identify and know more about OCOP products.
