According to regulations, the exam starts at 8:00 a.m. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late after the exam start time, you will not be allowed to take the exam. The prolonged heat has made many parents worried about the health of candidates as well as the risk of power outages and flooding. Regarding this issue, Mr. Tran The Cuong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, has requested that exam sites must conduct a final check of the electrical system and fans to ensure that no electrical problems arise at the exam sites. During the exam period (from June 9 to June 12), Hanoi Electricity has committed to having a plan to ensure uninterrupted power supply. Many exam sites organize the distribution of free drinking water and paper fans to candidates. The exam sites also prepare medicine and medical supplies, ready to support candidates when they have health problems. According to the representative of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the whole city has 201 testing sites, with a total of 4,477 testing rooms for non-specialized public grade 10 candidates and 402 spare testing rooms. The number of candidates who came to the testing site to complete the exam procedures on June 9 was 114,962, accounting for 99.4% of the total number of candidates registered to take the exam. There were more than 600 candidates absent because they had been admitted to specialized grade 10 of universities, or went to vocational school... The total number of candidates who needed support during the exam was 9.
The examination sites have appropriate support plans to ensure that candidates take the exam according to their wishes and conditions according to regulations. On the day of examination procedures, 15,364 officers, teachers and staff were present at the examination sites to perform their duties, reaching 99.97% of the total number of officers, teachers and staff mobilized. The absent examination officers at the examination sites were assigned backup teachers to ensure compliance with examination regulations. As of 7:00 p.m. on June 9, the Hanoi City Examination and Admissions Steering Committee affirmed that the facilities serving the examination sites were fully prepared according to regulations. 100% of the examination sites have received all stationery from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training; 100% of the examination sites have coordinated with security forces and police to prepare plans to ensure security and safety in the examination site and the area outside the examination site gate. Each testing site has a backup generator. The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has directed testing sites to continue to strengthen security measures at testing sites (test rooms, cabinets for storing test papers and exam papers; security camera systems; personnel...); preservation of candidates' personal belongings; plans to ensure food hygiene and safety; traffic diversion and storm and flood prevention...
