On the morning of April 25th, Dong Loc Crossroads welcomed nearly 2,000 visitors.

(Baohatinh.vn) - On the first morning of the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day holiday, the Dong Loc Crossroads historical site (Ha Tinh province) welcomed approximately 2,000 visitors from all over the country. It is predicted that the number of visitors will increase significantly in the coming days.

From early morning on April 25th, convoys of vehicles lined the road leading to the Dong Loc Crossroads historical site (Dong Loc commune), heading towards this significant historical location.

From the national memorial site for fallen Youth Volunteers to the graves of the 10 female Youth Volunteer martyrs at Dong Loc Crossroads, the area is bustling with visitors from all over the country.

Beside the bomb crater, visitors were moved as the tour guide explained the heroic sacrifice of 10 young female volunteers, Squad 4, Company 552 (General Team 55 of the Youth Volunteer Force of Ha Tinh ), led by Squad Leader Vo Thi Tan.

Ms. Bui Thi Nga (a tourist from Bac Ninh ) expressed: "This is my return to Dong Loc Crossroads after 10 years, but the emotion and gratitude for the heroic sacrifice of the martyrs remain as strong as ever. I find the historical site, especially the graves of the 10 female Youth Volunteers, to be very well cared for."

Along with offering incense and flowers, visitors took the opportunity to capture souvenir photos at this historical site.

Veteran Nguyen Van Lap ( Ninh Binh province) - formerly a tank soldier in Company 7, Battalion 8, Regiment 102, Division 308 - said: "Every time I return to Dong Loc Crossroads, I am always moved to remember my comrades who fell for the country and homeland. During the years of the war against the US, when we marched through here to fight in the South, we received much precious affection from the officers, soldiers, and people of Ha Tinh. It was the sincerity and courage of the Dong Loc Crossroads Youth Volunteers that gave us strength to fight until peace came."

Visiting Dong Loc Crossroads during this time, tourists can also have many interesting experiences such as: taking photos at check-in points built by the Monument Management Board, or using the photobooth service to capture memorable moments when visiting this historical site.

On the morning of April 25th, at the Dong Loc Crossroads historical site, we welcomed approximately 2,000 visitors who came to pay their respects and offer incense. We anticipate a significant increase in visitors in the coming days, especially during the April 30th and May 1st holidays.

To ensure a warm welcome for visitors, we have made all necessary preparations, including environmental sanitation, coordinating security and order throughout the holiday period, and enhancing services such as providing electric vehicles and offerings. This allows us to serve visitors in the most convenient way possible when they come to Dong Loc Crossroads.
