The 1st Government Party Congress, term 2025-2030 is the first Congress of the Government Party Committee under the new organizational model.

The Congress has the theme: "Building a clean and strong Government Party organization; solidarity, exemplary leadership in science , technology, innovation, digital transformation; accelerating breakthroughs, developing the country quickly and sustainably in the era of rising up, prosperity, civilization, prosperity and happiness".

The motto of the Congress is: "Solidarity and discipline - Democratic innovation - Breakthrough development - Close to the people".

Attending the Congress were 453 official delegates (including 60 ex-officio delegates, 157 officially appointed delegates and 236 elected delegates), representing over 209,000 party members from 2,211 grassroots party organizations in the entire Government Party Committee; along with about 120 invited delegates...

The Congress has the task of summarizing and evaluating the results of the 2020-2025 term, reviewing the leadership and direction of the Government Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term; and determining the directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term.
In particular, the Congress will discuss and contribute opinions to the Draft Document of the Central Committee to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party.
