In the first nine months of 2025, Dak Lak's economy continued to maintain stable growth, with Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) increasing by 6.9%, total export turnover reaching US$2.334 billion, a 37.8% increase compared to the same period in 2024. Total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue reached over VND 138 trillion, a 17.7% increase.
The province currently has over 19,500 operating businesses, with a total registered capital of over 272 trillion VND; in the first nine months alone, 2,354 new businesses were established, demonstrating the confidence and expectations of the business community in the province's investment environment.
Not only does the business sector play a leading role in production and business development, but it also contributes significantly to social stability, job creation, and rural development. The dynamism and flexible adaptability of the business community have become key factors helping Dak Lak maintain its growth momentum amidst a volatile economic environment.
Appreciating these contributions, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province, Ta Anh Tuan, emphasized: "Despite many difficulties and challenges, businesses have strived to maintain and develop their production and business activities, create jobs for workers, contribute to the state budget, and especially actively participate in social welfare programs, supporting people in disadvantaged areas, affected by natural disasters and epidemics."
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also affirmed that Dak Lak will continue to strongly reform its administrative procedures, create a favorable investment environment, and support businesses.
Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province, Ta Anh Tuan, expressed his wish that the business community "continue to leverage its internal strengths with the aspiration to reach out to the wider world, maintain its pioneering position in the province's socio-economic development, demonstrate a proactive and creative spirit, strengthen linkages and cooperation to enhance competitiveness, and build Dak Lak's product brands in domestic and international markets."
In addition, he also emphasized the need to build a corporate culture, implement fair and healthy competition, and develop sustainable values—fundamental principles for Dak Lak businesses to affirm their brand and reputation in the era of integration.
In that spirit, the business community in Dak Lak is showing a strong transformation. According to Nguyen Quang Vinh, Chairman of the Dak Lak Business Association, in this new development phase, the province's entrepreneurs have identified three key directions: Firstly, to awaken the spirit of innovation and creativity, create a networking environment for entrepreneurs to share experiences, support startups, and promote the spirit of "daring to think, daring to act, and daring to take responsibility."
Secondly, we need to build a transparent, friendly, and sustainable investment environment, promote the role of a bridge between businesses and the government, listen to and promptly address difficulties and obstacles faced by businesses.
Thirdly, we will work alongside the province in its digital transformation process, supporting businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, in applying technology, e-commerce, innovating management, and enhancing competitiveness.
Along with strategic direction, many community social activities of Dak Lak entrepreneurs have also been recognized, such as the "Entrepreneur's Blood Donation" program, voluntary blood donation, and trade promotion and international cooperation activities, opening up new cooperation opportunities for Dak Lak products and brands in regional and global markets.
Throughout its development, Dak Lak entrepreneurs have increasingly demonstrated their role as co-builders with the government. They not only contribute economic resources but also bring modern management thinking, a sense of social responsibility, and a desire to contribute to their homeland.
The harmonious combination of a proactive government that fosters pioneering businesses and a consensus among the people is creating a synergistic strength, helping Dak Lak stand firm on its journey of innovation and integration.
