Dak Lak: Promoting the role of entrepreneurs in sustainable socio-economic development

In the first nine months of 2025, Dak Lak's economy continued to maintain stable growth, with the gross regional domestic product (GRDP) increasing by 6.9%, total export turnover reaching 2.334 billion USD, up 37.8% over the same period in 2024. Total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue reached more than 138 trillion VND, up 17.7%.

The province currently has more than 19,500 operating enterprises, with a total registered capital of over VND272 trillion; in the first 9 months of the year alone, 2,354 new enterprises were established, demonstrating the confidence and expectations of the business community in the province's investment environment.

Not only playing a leading role in production and business development, the business sector also contributes significantly to social stability, job creation and new rural development. The dynamism and flexible adaptation of the business community has become a key factor helping Dak Lak maintain its growth momentum in a volatile economic context.

Appreciating those contributions, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan emphasized: "Despite the difficult and challenging context, businesses still strive to maintain and develop production and business activities, create jobs for workers, contribute to the state budget and especially actively participate in social security programs, support people in difficult areas, natural disasters and epidemics."

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also affirmed that Dak Lak will continue to strongly reform administration, create a favorable investment environment and accompany businesses.

Besides, he also emphasized the requirement of building corporate culture, implementing fair and healthy competition and sustainable development of fundamental values ​​for Dak Lak enterprises to affirm their brand and reputation in the integration period.

According to Chairman of the Dak Lak Business Association Nguyen Quang Vinh, in the new development period, the province's businessmen have identified three key orientations: First, to arouse the spirit of innovation and creativity, create a connecting environment for businessmen to share experiences, support start-ups, and promote the spirit of "dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility".

Second, build a transparent, friendly and sustainable investment environment, promote the role of a bridge between businesses and the government, listen and promptly reflect on difficulties and problems to resolve them for businesses.

Third, accompany the province in the digital transformation process, support businesses, especially small and medium enterprises, to apply technology, e-commerce, innovate management and improve competitiveness.

Along with strategic orientation, many social and community activities of Dak Lak businessmen are also recognized such as the program "Red Drops of Businessmen" for voluntary blood donation, or trade promotion activities, international cooperation, opening up new cooperation opportunities for Dak Lak products and brands in regional and world markets.
