This morning, November 10, continuing the working program of the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly , the National Assembly will hold a separate meeting to decide on personnel work. Personnel elected by the National Assembly will take the oath of office.

In the afternoon of the same day, the National Assembly discussed in the hall the draft Law on Population and the Law on Disease Prevention. Afterwards, the National Assembly listened to the Minister of Health explain and clarify a number of issues raised by delegates.

According to the provisions of the Law on Organization of the National Assembly, four positions must take an oath after being elected, including: President , Chairman of the National Assembly, Prime Minister and Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court.

Regarding personnel work at the Supreme People's Court, recently, the Politburo decided to assign and transfer Mr. Le Minh Tri, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Party Committee Secretary, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee.

At the same time, the Standing Committee of the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies appointed Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate, to join the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court for the 2025-2030 term.

Regarding personnel work at the National Assembly, the Politburo decided that Mr. Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central mass organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, ceased to participate in the 13th Party Central Committee Secretariat, ceased to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Party Committee, ceased to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central mass organizations for the 2020-2025 term; transferred, assigned, appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Party Committee and hold the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

At the recent 14th Central Conference, the Party Central Committee gave opinions on the personnel for the positions of Vice President (Permanent) of the 15th National Assembly and Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court for the 2021-2026 term for the Politburo to decide on introduction at the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly to be elected according to regulations.
