Junior Warriors Obstacle Course Tournament Coming Soon

On the morning of May 18, a press conference was held in Hanoi to inform about the Junior Warriors obstacle course tournament for children, jointly organized by PMG Multimedia Joint Stock Company and Wecom Communication & Entertainment Company.

Speaking at the press conference, Ms. Tran Thi Thu Phuong, General Director of PMG Multimedia Joint Stock Company, Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament, said that creating a playground to improve children's willpower is very important. Therefore, the large-scale professional running tournament for children Junior Warriors not only helps to train physical strength but also trains the young generation to have perseverance and determination to be ready to face difficulties and challenges. This playground will create excitement and increase the experience for children through the arrangement of safe obstacles, suitable for ages 6 - 12. Ms. Phuong also said that the tournament will continue to be held in October 2023, thereby creating a chain of inspiration for other units to organize more quality playgrounds for children to participate.

For this tournament, the Organizing Committee has designed many interesting and attractive games and obstacles on the running course such as: Wall climbing, pipe climbing, net climbing, tire climbing, balance beam climbing, etc. In addition, the challenges are also designed and arranged methodically and elaborately, promising to bring a professional and attractive tournament for children.

When registering for the tournament, young athletes will receive a race-kit including: a jersey, headband, BIB (registration number) with a timing chip to calculate the running time from start to finish. If they complete the race and overcome all obstacles, they will receive a medal recognizing their achievements. In addition, at each distance, the Organizing Committee will award first, second, third prizes, along with valuable rewards to the first 3 children to finish.

Young athletes participating in the tournament are divided into 3 age groups: 6-7 year old group with a distance of 1,000m and 8 obstacles; 8-9 year old group with a distance of 1,500m and 9 obstacles; 10-12 year old group with a distance of 1,800m and 12 obstacles.

The Organizing Committee said that 10% of the tournament's ticket sales will be donated to Operation Smile Vietnam - an international charity organization that provides free surgeries for children and young people with facial deformities, bringing smiles and new lives. Through this social activity, the Organizing Committee hopes to inspire compassion in children, increase solidarity and sharing./.
