'Enrollment Day for Science and Technology Majors' is coming soon

The Science and Technology Admissions Fair organized by Tien Phong newspaper will take place at the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (No. 18 Hoang Quoc Viet, Nghia Do Ward, Cau Giay District, Hanoi ).

This is a practical activity in response to Resolution 57 of the Politburo on science, technology development, innovation and digital transformation, celebrating Vietnam Science and Technology Day (May 18).

The Science and Technology Admissions Fair organized by Tien Phong newspaper will take place on Vietnam Science and Technology Day (May 18, 2025) with the participation of more than 5,000 students.

In addition to receiving advice from representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, about 30 universities, academies, students and parents attending the program also attended inspirational talks on science and technology from prestigious speakers. At the same time, on the occasion of Vietnam Science and Technology Day and the anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (May 20), the Academy organized the opening of laboratories and displayed some typical science and technology products for students and parents to directly visit and experience.

Journalist Phung Cong Suong - Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper , shared: “Through the Science and Technology Admissions Festival, Tien Phong Newspaper wants to arouse the love of science and technology among high school students. This is also a specific action of Tien Phong Newspaper in response to Resolution 57 of the Politburo on the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation. With the experience of successfully organizing many national-scale events, we are very confident in the success of this event.”

Prof. Dr. Dinh Thi Mai Thanh - Rector of the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH) said: “The University of Science and Technology of Hanoi and some member units of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology have prepared thoughtful facilities and many attractive contents for high school students to accompany Tien Phong newspaper to best organize the Admissions Day for Science and Technology majors. In particular, the area displaying science and technology products of the Academy and STEM experiential classes at USTH have been specially designed for the event and will be the highlights to welcome students and parents to experience”.

The program is held from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, 2025.
