Duc Thanh (29 years old), is currently a teacher teaching Japanese accounting program and used to live in Japan. About 3 years ago, Thanh accidentally met Nguyen Ha Uyen (26 years old, from Thanh Hoa) while commenting on social networks. Seeing the Facebook account of the young girl with a pretty and attractive appearance, Thanh boldly texted her.

"We texted each other back and forth. On the second day, I said frankly, I like you so I want to explore a relationship, and eventually fall in love. It's not like I'm randomly texting online to find a girl," Thanh told Uyen.

It was not until Thanh returned to Vietnam for work that the two met for the first time. Thanh felt compatible with Uyen in every way, so he quickly brought her home to meet his mother. Seeing that their future daughter-in-law was pretty and well-behaved, Thanh's family was very pleased.

A few months later, Thanh arranged to return to Vietnam to visit and introduce his mother's family. After a week, the airport closed due to the Covid-19 epidemic. That stay in Vietnam made Thanh decide to return to his homeland to start a business.

In April 2022, when the couple was happily preparing for their wedding, Uyen discovered a strange disease. She saw bruises and strange spots continuously appearing on her arms and legs for unknown reasons. Thanh took her to the Central Hematology Hospital for examination, and he was stunned when the doctor said Uyen had thrombocytopenia.

"We're about to get married, the leading professor firmly said that this disease is incurable, the blood cannot clot, we have to live with it for the rest of our lives", Thanh was desperate.

Uyen had to postpone her wedding when she learned she had an incurable disease.

As for Uyen, she was also depressed, no longer in the mood to think about anything. "My husband came home and looked it up online, so he realized it was dangerous. He hid in the bathroom and cried. The doctor said my platelets were only the size of a newborn baby's, if I had an accident or bled on the street, I wouldn't be able to save him in time. The doctor told me to go to the hospital immediately," Uyen said.

Taking Uyen to the doctor, Thanh felt heartbroken because he had never taken anyone to the hospital where the doctor had to repeatedly warn them to be so careful.

“I went to the hospital and saw that many people had that disease. Each month, it costs about 10-20 million VND for medicine. If you want to have a baby, you have to go to two hospitals: the Hematology hospital in the morning and the Obstetrics hospital in the afternoon so that doctors from both sides can monitor you,” the young man said sadly.

Feeling guilty about her illness, Uyen wanted to end the relationship with Thanh because she did not want anyone to suffer because of her. She also declared that she would not get married if she was not cured.

As for the teacher's family, although not too strict, seeing their son worried, Thanh's mother reminded him to think carefully because marriage is a lifelong matter.

Thanh decided to stay with Uyen through the difficulties.

"If I leave now, I can't. I love her very much. Moreover, I am a man . I said I would be her support for the rest of my life, but now that I've encountered the first difficulty, I've left," Thanh told himself and decided to overcome this challenge with Uyen.

After taking Western medicine for a while, Uyen's condition still did not improve, her family advised her to try traditional medicine. By chance, they found out that there was a good doctor in Bim Son, Thanh Hoa, so Uyen and her husband went to see him. Luckily, the doctor said the disease could be cured, and the family could rest assured because he had helped many people recover from the disease.

And indeed, a miracle smiled on the 9X couple: " My wife took the doctor's medicine for 1 month, until she went to the Hematology Institute for a check-up, the doctor looked at the test results and said this was a miracle, he couldn't believe this could happen" , Thanh said happily.
