The play "Mother's Boat" is a deeply moving work of art about maternal love and the aspiration to protect the homeland. The story revolves around a family with a revolutionary tradition, whose boundless contributions and sacrifices to the country have been immense, from the resistance against the French and Americans to the years of peace. Tham, a poor village girl, and Quang, the landlord's son, run away from home to join the revolution.

For the sake of duty, Quang continued to sacrifice his family happiness, going south and operating behind enemy lines, leaving behind his young wife and infant son. Trusting in her husband's unwavering loyalty, Thắm silently endured hardship, suffering all kinds of humiliation and slander, striving to raise her son to adulthood. Later, that son followed in his father's footsteps, dedicating himself and sacrificing for the cause of defending the homeland…

"Mother's Boat" is directed by People's Artist Nguyen Thuy Hien, Director of the People's Police Theatre, and directed by People's Artist Le Hung. Meritorious Artist Bui Vu Minh is the scriptwriter. "Mother's Boat" evokes deep emotions in the audience about the security and intelligence officer and the heroic Vietnamese Mother.
