Peace is not a coincidence, but the crystallization of blood, tears and unfinished promises to return.

We understand that today’s peace is exchanged for the age of 20, the image of a mother waiting for her child to return, and the wartime love stories of the previous generation. Soldiers who spared no expense, mothers who sent their children off to battle, young female volunteers who stayed day and night on the Truong Son route… Each story is a lesson that no book can replace.

And today, amidst modern lecture halls, libraries filled with books, high-tech labs, and tree-lined courtyards, students of Nguyen Tat Thanh University are living in peace, studying, dreaming, and aspiring to contribute. Peace is when we hear the sound of planes flying across the sky but still feel secure knowing that those are Vietnamese flights, carrying knowledge and connecting to the future. At the school named after Uncle Ho, we not only study to work, but also study to love - to love the country, to love peace, and to love the mission of protecting those values.

A typical example is former student Nguyen Thanh Dat, Faculty of Tourism, who is a shining example of the spirit of dedication. Despite having many career opportunities open to him, he still chose to volunteer to join the army. The decision was not only a personal act, but also a responsible declaration of a young person who was willing to put the Fatherland above his own interests. Generations of students who grew up in peacetime still keep in their hearts the fire of the spirit of dedication. They are the "green shoots of peace" but do not rest in familiar safety. They step out, commit and contribute - from the laboratory to the border front, from the science hall to volunteer campaigns across the country.

The image of "the beauties of Nguyen Tat Thanh University" such as former students Thach Thi Kieu Mi - Faculty of Engineering and Technology; Nguyen Thi Kim Thi - Faculty of Law on the training ground during the Dien Bien Phu victory celebration not only makes people admire because of their gentle beauty, but also because of their resilient spirit and courage to contribute to preserving peace and spreading Vietnamese cultural values.

Nguyen Phuoc Vinh - a student of the Faculty of Creative Communication - shared emotionally: "Every morning when I walk through the school yard, looking at the national flag fluttering in the blue sky, I think of the millions of people who have fallen so that the flag can be present today. I tell myself to live responsibly, study seriously and constantly contribute". Overseas student Phouanousak Thanousone - Lao People's Democratic Republic - shared: "I chose Vietnam to study because I love the culture and people here. But when I studied at Nguyen Tat Thanh University, I truly felt the value of peace - a value that cannot be measured by material things. The patriotism of Vietnamese students makes me admire. I want to bring that spirit back to my homeland - to live kindly, be grateful and contribute to preserving good things".
