That is the message from Ha Anh Tuan, the artist who confidently "sketched a rose" vividly at two art spaces with iconic musical and architectural features of the world: Esplanade durian theater, Singapore (June 11, 12) and Sydney Opera House, Australia (September 29 evening).

Not only the lyrics, the message of “believing in roses”, believing in the small and beautiful things of Ha Anh Tuan live concert – Sketch a rose is also spread through practical actions. During the concert, Ha Anh Tuan and the audience in Sydney donated 500 million VND to Blue Dragon Children's Foundation. Established in 2004 in Vietnam, the organization specializes in rescuing children who are victims of human trafficking, and at the same time nurturing and providing vocational training for homeless children, making a living on the streets.
About 2,600 audiences came to Sketch a rose , with Ha Anh Tuan and his music to create beautiful memories, both emotional and proud when Vietnamese music filled the theater, a world cultural heritage, in the private concert of the singer from Vietnam.
To have a “dreamy” performance space, from real materials of 60,000 roses next to a light band and an orchestra with more than 40 Vietnamese artists performing with Ha Anh Tuan on stage, the organizing and production team (Viet Vision and Storii, with the support of The Global City, Menard VN and Singapore Airlines) painstakingly transported 80 packages of equipment and props from Vietnam. Taking care of the audience’s emotions, according to general director Cao Trung Hieu, is also taking care of the need to enjoy spiritual values of the Vietnamese community living, working and contributing in the host country; and more sublimely, it is taking care of the pride of Vietnamese music. Because as he shared, when preparing the Sketch a rose project, the artists accompanying Ha Anh Tuan placed their “faith in roses”: the music of Sketch a rose – Vietnamese music, will become the mark of Vietnamese artists at international-class theaters, where Vietnamese audiences around the world can enter with inspiration.
Conductor Tran Nhat Minh, who conducted the show, said that after the show in Singapore (which he said was extremely emotional), the concert in Sydney had more highlights as the artists had prepared very carefully. Or as musician Nguyen Huu Vuong, the show's music director, said, Sketch a rose is one of the most emotional concerts, in which the special thing for him is performing abroad and bringing the national musical identity of Vietnam to the world.
Rose of gratitude…
Talking to the audience, Ha Anh Tuan asked to choose the word "grateful" to open: "Grateful to grandparents, parents, family for giving Tuan a life, a name; friends, confidants, colleagues for giving him the confidence to do the job; especially the audience for giving Tuan a musical career. But above all, it is the homeland and the Vietnamese people, for giving Tuan a form, an identity to stand here tonight."

Choosing to start the Sketch a rose concert with a medley of Trinh Cong Son's songs: Please give me - Tuoi da buon , Ha Anh Tuan explained: "When musician Trinh Cong Son wrote, please give my mother, my sister joy of life, bustling footsteps, please give my homeland a gentle sleep..., after all that, finally I ask to love you... Loving you is simply like a rose pinned to my hair..."; and because "tonight is the night of Vietnamese music". If the music in Singapore is full of the energy of love, of youthful aspirations, then to the audience in Australia, Sketch a rose brings a message of love and aspirations for peace for the country.
In the program, besides the 2 guests who were kept secret until the last minute, Thu Phuong and Hoang Dung - representing 2 generations of music with passionate, emotional singing and love songs of contemporary Vietnamese music, musician Viet Anh was the surprise guest when he flew from New Zealand to play for Ha Anh Tuan to sing. After telling the musical story of "healed wounds" (2022), Viet Anh and the orchestra created a harmony - "painting" more "deep strokes" for Chua bao gio through the voices of Ha Anh Tuan and Thu Phuong.
In about 3 hours, Sketch a rose takes the audience through many emotional areas through new works of the project of the same name composed by Phan Manh Quynh, Vu Cat Tuong, Vu., Thanh Nghiep, Tran Duy Khang... and especially the "gift" that Hoang Dung dedicated to Sketch a rose - Intact ... And, it was worth waiting for when in the "bonus" song at the end of the program (his fans are always "pampered" like that), Ha Anh Tuan announced that Sketch a rose will take place in Ho Chi Minh City in the spring days of 2025: the concert is like a date with many surprises and most especially, honoring the brilliant roses of Vietnam!
