Mid-term and first-half-year review of inspection, supervision and disciplinary enforcement work of the Provincial Party Committee

(BLC) - On the afternoon of July 21, in Nam Nhun district, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission (PCI) coordinated with Nam Nhun District Party Committee to organize a mid-term review conference for the 2020-2025 term and the first 6 months of 2023 on inspection, supervision and disciplinary enforcement work of the Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee.

In the 2020-2025 term, implementing the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress, the Inspection Commissions at all levels of Lai Chau province have proactively advised the Party Committees to propagate, disseminate, study and implement the regulations and guidelines of the Central Committee on inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement in the Party; promptly concretize and promulgate regulations, rules and professional procedures for implementation. Develop and organize the implementation of the inspection and supervision program and plan for 2021, 2022 and the first 6 months of 2023 to basically comprehensively complete the tasks, with focus and key points.

Inspection and supervision work continues to be strengthened in both quantity and quality, associated with the declaration of assets and income. Regularly grasp the situation of party organizations and party members to carry out the key task of inspecting party organizations and party members when there are signs of violations, especially cases related to the direction of the Central Inspection Commission. The work of receiving, classifying, and handling denunciations and complaints is timely. The quality and effectiveness of inspection and supervision in the mid-term of 2020-2025 continues to be improved, the results of implementing a number of inspection and supervision tasks of party organizations increased by 57%, and party members increased by 129%.

In the first 6 months of 2023, Party committees at all levels inspected 144 Party organizations and 658 Party members. Inspection committees at all levels inspected 8 Party organizations and 25 Party members when there were signs of violations. It was concluded that 5 Party organizations and 23 Party members had shortcomings and violations, of which 21 Party members had to be considered for disciplinary action and 13 Party members were disciplined. Inspection committees at all levels inspected the implementation of inspection and supervision tasks for 103 Party organizations.
