Attending the Conference were representatives of specialized departments and offices of the Department and representatives of 19 enterprises with recommendations and feedback sent to the Conference.
The conference aims to listen, receive and answer questions and recommendations from businesses related to the internal affairs sector; at the same time, contribute to improving the effectiveness of state management and improving the investment and business environment in the city.
Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs Tran Van Huy affirmed: In recent years, under the strong direction of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and the synchronous participation of all levels and sectors, administrative reform, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the state apparatus have achieved many positive results. The city has always proactively accompanied and promptly removed difficulties and obstacles for the business community, contributing to improving competitiveness and strongly attracting investment capital.
In 2025, Hai Phong city will continue to maintain its leading position nationwide in 3 important administrative reform indexes in 2024, including: Administrative Reform Index (PAR Index), People's Satisfaction Index with State Administrative Agencies (SIPAS) and Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI). In particular, with the PAR Index, Hai Phong is the only locality to be in the top 5 nationwide for 12/13 consecutive years, including 2 years leading and 7 years ranking 2nd out of 63 provinces and cities.
The Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs emphasized that the Conference is an annual activity demonstrating the spirit of openness, listening and accompanying the city government, the home affairs sector with the business community; aiming to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles in the field of state management under the sector's responsibility.
At the conference, the Department of Home Affairs received and answered 21 questions and recommendations from businesses related to 9 groups of issues: employment and new policies; labor, wages; unemployment insurance; occupational safety and hygiene; overtime; foreign labor management; emulation and rewards; administrative reform and meritorious people.
With a serious, frank and open working spirit, all recommendations were fully, clearly and satisfactorily answered by representatives of the Department's specialized departments and divisions right at the conference. Business representatives highly appreciated the receptive spirit, responsibility and effective coordination of the Department of Home Affairs in listening and resolving difficulties arising from practice.
The conference affirmed the commitment of the Department of Home Affairs to always be ready to listen, remove difficulties and obstacles, and create the most favorable administrative environment for businesses to confidently invest and develop. The Department of Home Affairs is committed to continuing to accompany the business community, taking business satisfaction as a measure of work efficiency. Along with that, the Department will continuously review and improve regulations and administrative procedures; promote the application of information technology in state management activities, contributing to the effective implementation of Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on private economic development - one of the important driving forces of the country's economy./.
