According to the report, after the merger, the Department of Agriculture and Environment has more than 3,400 civil servants, public employees and workers; initially establishing specialized departments and affiliated public service units. In the first 6 months of 2025, the industry maintained stable production with a total value of nearly 45,000 billion VND, accounting for 31% of the province's GRDP. Key programs have all achieved positive results.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment proposed that the Provincial People's Committee soon decide to requisition the second campus of Vinh Long College as a temporary headquarters to stabilize operations. At the same time, it proposed the policy of establishing 8 strategic projects for agricultural and environmental development until 2030, with a vision to 2050...

Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Nguyen Van Buoi reported on some contents related to the industry's activities.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Chau Van Hoa requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to soon complete the organization, clearly assign tasks in the Party Committee and Board of Directors; and urgently complete the procedures to establish specialized departments and branches.

Accelerate the construction of new rural areas, control epidemics, plan aquaculture - cultivation - livestock, operate irrigation systems reasonably; proactively respond to natural disasters, reduce poverty, develop OCOP products; handle waste, manage minerals and land in accordance with regulations.

"The industry continues to promote the spirit of solidarity and determination, and is ready to successfully complete its tasks in the new period," Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Chau Van Hoa further emphasized.
