On July 17, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development coordinated with the Provincial Institute for Socio -Economic Development Research to organize a conference to promote digital transformation and sustainable administrative reform.

Director of the Provincial Institute for Socio-Economic Development Nguyen Phuong Bac analyzed and clarified a number of contents related to public service culture and governance quality; national administrative reform; Resolution 71 of the Provincial Party Committee on culture and people; organizational culture management; self-management mindset; promoting effective cooperation; the need to improve staff capacity.

Delegates shared about culture and public ethics in the framework of cadre capacity; the implementation of the local governance quality index (PCI, PAPI, SIPAS, PAR Index, DTI) of the province in recent years; key findings from PCI 2023; results of the ranking of competitiveness and administrative reform index of departments, branches and localities in 2023; policies and solutions of the province in improving and enhancing the local governance quality index in 2024 and the following years. Some recommendations from key findings of improving the quality of environmental governance towards sustainable development, results of the Provincial Green Index (PGI) in 2023; solutions to improve the PGI Index of the Agriculture sector.

Through the conference, it helps the staff, civil servants, public employees and workers of the agricultural sector understand the importance of digital transformation and sustainable administrative reform for the operation of the government apparatus at all levels; clearly define the roles and responsibilities of departments, offices, units and each individual in digital transformation and sustainable administrative reform, thereby contributing to improving the quality and efficiency of operations, towards the satisfaction of people and businesses.
