Here are the survey questions and answers for the entrance exam to grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School in 2025:

The Tran Dai Nghia School's 6th grade entrance exam took place on June 16 with more than 4,800 students in Ho Chi Minh City participating. With the school's enrollment target of 350, this year's "competition" ratio is up to 1/14, higher than the 2024 enrollment season.

The school's admission targets are students who have completed primary school in Ho Chi Minh City, with a score of 9 or higher in the final exam of each subject, Vietnamese and Math, grade 5.

The entrance exam for grade 6 of Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School consists of 2 parts: essay and multiple choice, in both English and Vietnamese. The test time is 90 minutes. The multiple choice part consists of 20 English questions, to be done in 30 minutes, revolving around knowledge of natural sciences , society and life.

The essay section lasts 60 minutes and assesses English proficiency (listening, reading, writing), logical thinking, mathematics and writing in Vietnamese.

Based on the survey results, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City will consider admission from high to low until the quota is met. Students who do not pass the 6th grade entrance exam at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School will be considered for admission according to local regulations.

This year, the school’s 6th grade quota has decreased significantly compared to before the separation. In previous years, Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted recruited about 535 6th grade students.
