Table tennis competition to raise funds to care for the needy

On November 8, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Nhuan Ward (HCMC) organized a Table Tennis tournament to mobilize social funds for the ward in 2025. Right at the opening ceremony, it received 250 million VND in support.

Activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front, Vietnam Fatherland Front Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025).

At the opening ceremony, units and organizations donated more than 250 million VND to the Phu Nhuan ward social fund.

Chairwoman of Phu Nhuan Ward People's Committee Nguyen Thi Nhu Y shared that the tournament aims to create a useful playground for people to exercise and interact with each other. This is also a meaningful activity when mobilizing the Social Fund. From this contribution, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the ward will organize activities to care for people in difficult circumstances, studious children, and vulnerable people in the ward, thereby spreading the spirit of "Joining hands for the community - Connecting love".

Mr. Dinh Gia Huynh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Nhuan Ward, also informed that the tournament is a continuation of the locality's many-year tradition of mobilizing to care for people in difficult circumstances.
