On the morning of November 9, at the Hanoi Museum, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Women's Union organized the Ao Dai performance program "Women of the Capital - Integration and Development".

The program is an activity within the series of activities of the Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival 2025 directed by the Hanoi People's Committee to celebrate the 18th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi and the 17th Congress of Hanoi Women's Congress, term 2025-2030.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairwoman of the Hanoi Women's Union Le Kim Anh said that in the journey of preserving and promoting heritage values and the quintessence of national culture, the Ao Dai is an indispensable part. This is a costume that honors the beauty of Vietnamese women, the cultural identity and the Vietnamese people.
In the context of increasingly strong international integration and cultural exchange, Ao Dai is still the costume closely associated with the lives of every woman and Vietnamese people. From students, civil servants, public employees, singers, actors, models, to ordinary workers, men and women can all wear Ao Dai in important ceremonies of family, clan, community; at the same time, Ao Dai is also a favorite costume in international events, contributing to promoting Vietnam to the world.
"Wearing the ao dai is not simply a choice of clothing but also shows love and respect for traditional culture" - Ms. Le Kim Anh shared.
The Ao Dai performance program "Capital Women Integration and Development" in 2025 with the theme "Ao Dai Dance - Colors of Capital Women" has the participation of over 600 officials, members, women, students, teachers, actors and representatives of families living in the capital.
At the program, there were performances of Ao Dai with music, folk dances with Ao Dai by non-professional models, contributing to creating a colorful space. The performances spread the message of love for Ao Dai, the beauty of women in the capital; at the same time, contributing to promoting the image of the capital with thousands of years of culture, civilization, modernity, as a safe, friendly and attractive destination for domestic and international friends.
In particular, the folk dance performance by 350 members of the Capital's Women's Union to the songs "For Your Smile" and "Hanoi's Constructions" made a strong impression; demonstrating the spirit of integration and development, the dynamic, healthy and youthful beauty of Hanoi women.
With the messages "Hanoi - City for Peace", "Proud of Vietnamese Women's Ao Dai", "Shining Vietnamese Ao Dai", "Charming Hanoi Ao Dai", "Colors of Capital Women", the activities in the Ao Dai performance program "Capital Women Integration and Development" in 2025 bring honor to the value of Ao Dai in social life, honoring the elegant and civilized beauty of Capital women.
