At about 8:45 a.m. on November 9, a tractor trailer suddenly caught fire while traveling on the Vung Ang - Bung expressway, passing through Ha Tinh province.

According to initial information, at the above time, a tractor with Ha Tinh license plate pulling a 74R trailer was traveling in the North - South direction on the Vung Ang - Bung expressway. When moving to Km577+600 in Ky Hoa commune, Ha Tinh province, the tractor suddenly caught fire.

The fire spread from the front of the trailer and quickly engulfed the entire cabin. As soon as the incident was discovered, the driver pulled the vehicle to the side of the road and tried to put out the fire, but due to the large flames and billowing smoke, he was unsuccessful.

After receiving the news, the highway management unit coordinated with the Traffic Police Department and the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Ha Tinh Province to quickly mobilize forces and vehicles to the scene to put out the fire and regulate traffic.

The fire was brought under control at around 10am the same day. The fire did not cause any casualties but burned the front of the tractor trailer and some of the goods.
