The Phu Tho Department of Information and Communications launched a campaign to support people in overcoming the consequences of Typhoon No. 3.

Attending the launching ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuong - Provincial Party Committee member, Party Secretary, Director of the Department of Information and Communications, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; leaders of the Department of Information and Communications; leaders of units under the Department of Information and Communications, along with all officials, civil servants, and employees of the agency.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuong, Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Phu Tho province, delivered a speech at the launching ceremony.

Speaking at the launch event, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuong, Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Phu Tho province, said: In recent days, Typhoon No. 3 and its aftermath have directly affected the northern provinces and cities, including Phu Tho province. Heavy rains, storms, floods, and landslides have caused severe damage to people and property; the lives of people in the disaster-stricken areas are facing many difficulties and losses.

Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Tho province, and the Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Phu Tho province, we call upon all officials, civil servants, and employees of the Department to uphold the tradition of "mutual support and compassion," through practical actions, contributing and supporting to create additional resources to help people overcome difficulties, quickly restore production and stabilize their lives.

At the launch event, 100% of the officials, civil servants, and employees of the Phu Tho Department of Information and Communications participated in donating at least one day's salary, totaling 29 million VND . The Department of Information and Communications will hand over all funds to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to jointly contribute to supporting people affected by Typhoon No. 3 and the recent floods./.
