Attending the festival were Dr. Monica Sharma, Director of Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center, Embassy of the Republic of India in Vietnam, representatives of departments, branches, Moc Chau town and more than 200 members of Yoga Clubs in Son La city and Moc Chau town.
Yoga is an ancient Indian practice and is recognized by the United Nations as a holistic approach to health and well-being. The dissemination of the benefits of practicing Yoga contributes to improving the health of people around the world .
In recent years, the Yoga practice movement in Son La has been growing strongly among many different age groups.
International Yoga Day held in Son La province contributes to promoting and encouraging the movement of practicing Yoga and improving people's health, and is a bridge to create resonance and promote the image, beautiful nature, friendly and hospitable people of Son La to domestic and international tourists. Along with that, it promotes cultural exchange, strengthens solidarity and friendship between the people of Vietnam and India.
Within the framework of the program, a popular Yoga protocol performance took place with more than 200 members from Yoga Clubs in Son La city and Moc Chau town.
