Son Tay commends and rewards 19 collectives and individuals of the Education sector

HNP - On the afternoon of November 18, Son Tay ward held a meeting to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025); commend and reward advanced models and outstanding teachers of the Education and Training sector of Son Tay ward in the 2024-2025 school year.

Son Tay Ward currently manages 21 public schools, including: 7 kindergartens, 7 primary schools, 7 secondary schools with 401 classes and nearly 12,900 students. Of which, 19/21 schools meet national standards, accounting for 90.47%; 100% of kindergartens and primary schools organize boarding meals with parental supervision. The whole ward has 97.09% of teachers meeting and exceeding standards.

In addition, in the ward, there are also Son Tay High School for the Gifted and the Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education under the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, and Friendship School 80 under the Ministry of Education and Training .

Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Son Tay Ward Ngo Dinh Ngu presented the Flag of Excellent Unit in the Emulation Movement of the 2024-2025 school year of the City People's Committee to the units.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the Education and Training sector of Son Tay ward achieved many outstanding results: Son Tay ward teachers participating in the City-level competition won 3 Second prizes, 1 Third prize; the City-level 9th ​​grade excellent student competition won 1 First prize, 3 Second prizes, 4 Third prizes, 19 Encouragement prizes.

In the science and technology competition, there was 1 project at the city level that won third prize; the percentage of 9th grade students passing the high school entrance exam reached 95.43%, the average admission score was 18/30...; the preschool level currently has nearly 3,000 children, 100% of whom are cared for as boarding students, Quang Trung Kindergarten was awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag by the Hanoi People's Committee.

The “Happy School” movement continues to spread with 5 schools previously awarded at the town level. Among them, Phu Thinh Primary School was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the City.

Collectives and individuals are commended and rewarded.

Along with improving the quality of education, 100% of schools maintain the model of "Safe School Gate", "Smoke-free School", organize extracurricular activities, life skills, school psychological counseling, creating a safe - friendly - modern educational environment.

Also in 2025, Son Tay ward will spend more than 8 billion VND on boarding and purchasing teaching equipment; at the same time, implementing many projects to build new and renovate Trung Hung Kindergarten, Trung Hung Primary - Secondary School, Phu Thinh Kindergarten, Son Loc Secondary School... to complete synchronous facilities, well serving teaching and learning needs.
