Sony Music Entertainment acquires a stake in a subsidiary of YeaH1.

VHO - On December 15, 2025, the Board of Directors of YeaH1 Group Joint Stock Company (code YEG) issued Resolution No. 408.2025.NQ.HĐQT.YEG, approving the signing and implementation of contracts for receiving capital contributions from Sony Music Entertainment Hong Kong Limited (Sony Music Entertainment HK) in its subsidiary, 1Label Joint Stock Company.

The resolution also approved cooperation agreements with Sony Music Entertainment HK for future digital music distribution projects. Accordingly, Sony Music Entertainment HK is expected to own 49% of the voting shares in 1Label Joint Stock Company.

After the transaction is completed, 1Label Joint Stock Company and 1Talents Joint Stock Company will no longer be subsidiaries but will become associate companies of YeaH1 Group.

Within the YeaH1 ecosystem, 1Label owns, produces, and distributes music , while 1Talents manages artists. These two entities play a key role in maximizing commercial value from content production and talent development.

Sony Music Entertainment HK is a member of Sony Music Entertainment Group, one of the “Big Three” – the three largest companies dominating the global music industry.

According to YeaH1, 1Label receiving investment from Sony Music Entertainment HK not only signifies attracting international capital into the domestic entertainment industry, but also opens up opportunities to access music production technology, global standard artist management models, and international distribution networks.

With YeaH1's content production strengths combined with Sony Music Entertainment's world- leading distribution system, the new joint venture is expected to develop high-quality products, raise the standards of the domestic music industry, and realize the goal of exporting Vietnamese culture to the international market, contributing to the national cultural industry development strategy.
