YEG shares surged amid the "Brother" concert craze.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - YEG is nearing its third consecutive limit-up session despite the ups and downs of the overall market. Against a backdrop of low liquidity, the VN-Index recovered this morning.

Although there was no breakthrough in liquidity, the market indices improved compared to yesterday. The market turned green again, with 405 stocks rising compared to 266 falling across all three exchanges.

The VN-Index recovered 6.41 points, or 0.52%, to 1,246.82 points; the HNX-Index recovered 8.97 points, or 0.69%. The HNX-Index recovered 0.65 points, or 0.29%, while the UPCoM-Index adjusted slightly down 0.08 points, or 0.09%.

Liquidity reached 253.55 million shares equivalent to VND 5,767.83 billion on HoSE and 25.52 million shares equivalent to VND 411.32 billion on HNX. The UPCoM market saw 16.65 million units traded equivalent to VND 179.88 billion.

The fact that most VN30 stocks rose in the morning session had a positive impact on the index. BID increased by 1.6%; CTG by 1.6%; MWG by 1.5%; VHM by 1.5%; STB by 1.4%; TPB and VIC both increased by 1.3%... In general, large-cap stocks showed consensus, although the price increases were not significant.

While most stocks on the market recovered, VND still fell 2.6% to 12,900 dong. Trading volume for this stock reached 16.9 million units. Most securities sector stocks only saw slight corrections or regained positive territory.

Media sector stocks performed quite actively. Yeah1's YEG briefly hit the ceiling price before falling back down, temporarily recording a 6.3% increase to 13,550 VND. ADG rose 4.3% and PNC increased 3.7%.

At a recent event, the Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism stated that although the "Brother Overcoming a Thousand Obstacles" concert features only Vietnamese performers, audiences in Ho Chi Minh City recently faced fierce competition for tickets, despite the high prices.

The event is scheduled to take place in Hung Yen on December 14th, but tickets are currently unavailable. "Even the Director of the Hung Yen Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, who issued the permit, couldn't buy tickets. Tickets cost around 8 million VND, but we can't get any, even though all the performers are Vietnamese. The economic and cultural needs are real, very attractive, and have a lot of potential," Mr. Phong stated.

Vicasa Steel's VCA was the only stock on the HoSE to hit its upper limit. The stock surged to 12,650 VND, with no sellers. Meanwhile, other steel stocks like NKG fell 2.4%; HSG decreased 1.6%; and TLH saw a slight correction.

According to analysts, technically, the market will temporarily be supported at the 1,237 point level, the MA(20) level of VN-Index and will fluctuate in the 1,237-1,245 point level in the near future.

Investors are advised to slow down and observe supply and demand developments to assess the market's state. Simultaneously, they should consider managing their portfolios appropriately, avoiding overbought conditions, and may consider taking short-term profits or restructuring their portfolios to minimize risk during recovery phases.
