On the afternoon of April 14, the People's Committee of Lang Son province organized a contract signing ceremony with the investor to implement the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang border gate expressway project under the BOT (build - operate - transfer) form. The Huu Nghi - Chi Lang border gate expressway project is implemented in the districts of Chi Lang, Cao Loc, Van Lang and Lang Son city, with a total length of about 59.87km; the total investment is 11,024 billion VND (the State budget capital participating in the project is 5,495 billion VND; the investor's capital is responsible for arranging 5,529 billion VND). In the early morning of April 14, Iran took military action against Israel in response to Tel Aviv's recent bloody attack on Iran's diplomatic facilities in the Syrian capital Damascus. The Israeli military confirmed that Iran launched more than 100 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) towards Israeli territory. The attack began at around 10:00 pm last night, local time, or around 2:00 am this morning Hanoi time. It is expected that the Iranian UAVs will approach Israeli airspace after about 2-3 hours. Israeli radio said that a no-fly order over the entire country's airspace has been issued. Last night, the Israeli War Cabinet held an emergency meeting chaired by Prime Minister Netanyahu to discuss countermeasures. The Hamas Islamist movement said on April 13 that it had sent a response to Egyptian and Qatari mediators on a new ceasefire proposal with Israel in the Gaza Strip. At a regional press conference on April 13, German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser said that Germany has arrested more than 700 human traffickers and prevented nearly 18,000 illegal immigrants from entering the country in the past 6 months.
