In the early morning of April 14, Iran took military action against Israel in response to Tel Aviv's recent bloody attack on Iran's diplomatic facilities in the Syrian capital Damascus. The Israeli military confirmed that Iran launched more than 100 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) towards Israeli territory. The attack began at around 10:00 pm last night, local time, or around 2:00 am this morning Hanoi time. It is expected that the Iranian UAVs will approach Israeli airspace after about 2-3 hours. Israeli radio said that a no-fly order over the entire country's airspace has been issued. Last night, the Israeli War Cabinet held an emergency meeting chaired by Prime Minister Netanyahu to discuss countermeasures. The Hamas Islamist movement said on April 13 that it had sent a response to Egyptian and Qatari mediators on a new ceasefire proposal with Israel in the Gaza Strip. At a regional press conference on April 13, German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser said that Germany has arrested more than 700 human traffickers and prevented nearly 18,000 illegal immigrants from entering the country in the past 6 months. The results were achieved thanks to the enhanced border control measures adopted by the government since October 2023.
