Geography and History Pedagogy lead the floor score of Saigon University in 2025

(NLDO) - Surpassing the Mathematics Pedagogy major, the Geography Pedagogy and History Pedagogy majors lead the 2025 floor score of Saigon University with 25 points.

This year, the minimum score for Saigon University based on the high school graduation exam ranges from 17 to 25 points. Among them, the majors in the pedagogical sector still hold the top positions.

In 2024, the highest floor score belongs to math pedagogy with 24.5 points and English pedagogy with 23 points.

In 2025, the top position has changed dramatically, Geography Pedagogy and History Pedagogy rose to the highest floor score of 25 points, followed by Mathematics Pedagogy with 24.5 points; English, Literature, Chemistry, and Physics Pedagogy all have a floor score of 24 points.

Saigon University notes that its teacher training programs do not use the results of the Competency Assessment Exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University or the results of the computer-based university entrance exam (V-SAT).

In 2024, the benchmark for teacher training majors based on high school graduation exam scores at Saigon University ranges from 21.59 to 28.25 points. Of which, the highest benchmark is in History Pedagogy with 28.25 points, followed by Literature Pedagogy with 28.11 points, and Mathematics Pedagogy with 27.75 points.

Previously, on the evening of July 22, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education also announced the threshold to ensure input quality (floor score) of admission methods (applied at the main campus in Ho Chi Minh City).

For the admission method using the 2025 high school graduation exam results, the minimum score ranges from 18 to 24 points. Of which, 6 majors with the highest minimum score of 24 points include: Mathematics Education, Chemistry Education, Literature Education, History Education, Geography Education, and English Education.

For the admission method using the results of the Specialized Competency Assessment exam combined with high school academic results, the floor score ranges from 17 to 21 points.
