On the afternoon of August 15, a leader of Road Management Area III (Vietnam Road Administration) confirmed that the authorities are searching for a male worker constructing Da Rang bridge who was swept away by floodwaters and went missing on the Ba River (section through Tuy Hoa ward, Dak Lak province).

The victim was Mr. NBH (born in 1993, from Thanh Hoa ). According to initial information, Mr. H. was a worker repairing Da Rang bridge. At around 9:00 a.m. the same day, Mr. H. and a team of workers were repairing the bridge at the T3 bridge pier.

After completing the repair, because the distance from the bridge pier to the shore was quite close, Mr. H. swam to shore. However, due to the strong current, Mr. H. was swept away and went missing.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Dak Lak Province coordinated with Squadron 2 and Dak Lak Province Border Guard to deploy forces to search. Currently, the authorities have not yet found Mr. H..

It is known that Da Rang bridge is located on National Highway 1A, managed by Road Management Area III (Vietnam Road Administration). The bridge started construction in 2003 and was inaugurated and put into use in 2004. After many years of use, some items have deteriorated and are being repaired.
