On the evening of April 30, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union organized the art program Singing with the Young City to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, at the April 30 Grand Ceremony stage on Le Duan Street (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).
The art program with more than 20 songs is divided into three chapters: The City I Love, Young City, Hello 50-Year City.
Interestingly, this art program was held at the April 30th ceremony stage on Le Duan Street, where 50 years ago, a tank carrying the liberation army flag entered the Independence Palace, opening the song of triumph to celebrate the country coming together as one.
The art program Singing with the Young City attracted thousands of viewers, including many veterans and foreign tourists.
Youthful and vibrant with familiar yet strange songs
The art program Singing with the Young City opened with two songs: The Country is Full of Joy and The Voice from the City Named After You performed by singer Ta Minh Tam, as a solemn and emotional greeting to the audience on the grand ceremony night.
With his powerful and emotional voice, Ta Minh Tam leads thousands of hearts to beat together with the sacred atmosphere of the reunification day.
The melody of The Country Full of Joy resounds like an emotional story about a glorious historical moment, when the whole nation burst into joy of independence.
Immediately after that, the song from the city named after him rose up like a love song of gratitude and pride, recalling the image of beloved Uncle Ho.

The song "Stars in Mother's Eyes" was sung by singer Thai Duy. Thai Duy deeply portrayed the image of a mother sending her son off to war, although her heart ached, she still silently watched over him with all her faith and love.
Sao Viet group brought two songs Thanh Pho Tinh Yeu and Mua Xuan to Ho Chi Minh City . As soon as this song was played, the surrounding audience cheered, sang and clapped along to the song.
At the same time, the dance group appeared in colorful red and yellow costumes, graceful in every movement, blending with the music , contributing to highlighting the image of a youthful, life-loving and constantly growing city.

The final part of the program has the theme Hello City 50 , built on the material of new songs written about Ho Chi Minh City at 50 years old such as: Hello 50 years of the city shining in your name (composed by musician Mai Tram), City of thousands of flowers (musician Nguyen Quang Vinh), Proud of Ho Chi Minh City (musician Dung Pham), Ho Chi Minh City Shining Faith (musicians Tran Xuan Tien, Mai Tram)...
Each song is a story, a unique perspective on Ho Chi Minh City - a land of love and generosity, always opening its arms to welcome people from everywhere to come and make a living.

Continuing the story of peace - a composition by musician Nguyen Van Chung, recently loved by many audiences, is once again performed by the young singer MiHa.
Also on this stage, singers Vo Ha Tram and Dong Hung sang the song "Writing the next story of peace" this morning within the framework of the April 30th ceremony. Previously, this song was associated with the name of singer Nguyen Duyen Quynh.
Mr. Conny (a German tourist) and his friend said that they had just arrived in Vietnam 2 days ago and he and his friend wanted to join in the atmosphere of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification.
