Previously, at around 0:45 a.m. the same day, on Ho Chi Minh road through village 2, Dak R'la commune, Mr. Tran Dinh Trieu, born in 1989, permanent residence in Hien Thanh commune, Vinh Linh district (Quang Tri) drove a passenger car with license plate 47F-005.04 from Buon Ma Thuot city ( Dak Lak ) to Ho Chi Minh city, when reaching the above road section, there was a collision with a car with license plate 60A-63781 driven by Mr. Nguyen Duy Toan, born in 1982, permanent residence in Trang Bang district (Tay Ninh) in the opposite direction.

As a result, the front of the bus and the car were severely damaged. The driver of the car and the injured passenger were taken to the Central Highlands Regional Hospital (Dak Lak). Initial reports at the scene showed that Toan had broken ribs and the woman sitting in the passenger seat had a broken leg.

The cause of the incident is being investigated by authorities.
